Pig Out – Sharing On Common Ground…

The vision for the truck began out of West UMC, Faith UMC, and St. Paul’s vision to work together, breaking the racial divide that exists in our churches, as we seek to be in the community offering love/hope, rather than contained in the walls of a building.

When & Where…

We are going to serve every Sunday from 11:30am til 1:30pm at Park View Elementary in downtown Mooresville. This is a location that people can walk to, and located centrally in an area of Mooresville where we feel we can make a difference.

MOORESVILLE – West United Methodist Church, Faith United Methodist Church and St. Paul United Methodist Church’s food truck initiative combats more than hunger.

“Sunday morning (service) is the most segregated hour of the week,” Andrea Smith, pastor at West UMC, said. “We say we’re all about racial unity, and some churches in downtown (Mooresville) do work to combat that divide, but still, we need to try harder and put it more effort to work together.”
